    JAMP Mini Grant Requests for Applications (RFA)

    To assist in building stronger programs the JAMP Council has approved funds to be used to support recruitment, retention and undergraduate internships.   Applicants will need to submit the appropriate “Request for Application” (RFA) for one or more of the following programs.

    Pre-JAMP High School, Undergraduate and Medical School Outreach Program Initiatives: PDF Instructions; Excel Budget form

      • Build upon programs that have documented success in strengthening interest in medicine and learning skills among qualified pre-college and/or undergraduate students preparing for the JAMP experience.
      • Implement and evaluate new, innovative enrichment and recruitment activities to prepare pre-college and undergraduate students for entry into the JAMP undergraduate component.

    JAMP Mini-Grant Instructional Improvement Program:

      • This program is intended to improve success in retaining undergraduate school students in the JAMP program.

    Pre-JAMP Undergraduate Internship Program:

      • The Pre-JAMP Internship Program is intended to increase the preparedness of freshman and rising sophomore undergraduate students to compete for admission into the Joint Admission Medical Program (JAMP) at their home colleges and universities.

    The first two programs are open to all JAMP undergraduate (public and private) and medical school partner institutions.  The third program for undergraduate internships is open to all undergraduate (public and private) institutions.  The internships may be utilized by other university faculty members (program mentors) other than the JAMP faculty director to support the purpose of the program.  The project director for each proposal must be the JAMP Faculty Director at the applicant institution.
