Being a part of JAMP is a great privilege and honor, something that not everyone gets to experience. To all current and future JAMPers I would advice to take advantage of all the opportunities this program provides to become a great physician and individual and give back to the community. JAMP provides great one-on-one mentorship and guidance, which is something I found to be very useful in transitioning from college to medical school.
How has JAMP helped you as you strive to achieve your goal of becoming a doctor?
JAMP has opened a big door for me to begin my career and start working towards achieving
my goals of becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon. I am really grateful and appreciative
of all the support and guidance the JAMP team has provided thus far and continues
to provide.
What advice would you like to offer current or future JAMP students?

What aspect of JAMP has been most beneficial to you (e.g. scholarships, mentorship,
etc.)?
I have benefited most from the guidance and support that JAMP has provided in terms
of career and life choices. I am forever grateful for the individuals that have helped
me find my path in medicine as well as in life. I also appreciate the financial support
JAMP provides as a medical career is a very expensive journey.
