How has JAMP helped you as you strive to achieve your goal of becoming a doctor?JAMP has done everything that it promised to do. I feel prepared for the upcoming application process, and they've guided me every single step of the way. They've also given me an opportunity to get to know my peers that I will hope to work with for a long time to come.

What advice would you like to offer current or future JAMP students?
Invest in yourself. Many pre-meds have a tendency to focus on academics, volunteering services, internships, etc, and while those are all great things to do, they are dwarfed when compared to investing in yourself. Take the time of day to reflect, grow, and become a better person. Start to understand yourself and your motivations. It'll shine through.

What aspect of JAMP has been most beneficial to you?
JAMP has really allowed me to broaden my horizons in ways that I never could have before. Visiting and studying in the different medical schools and interacting with students in the same situations have really allowed me to get a lot of different perspectives. The staff and the professors that I've had the opportunity to work with have been enlightening and very helpful. The mystery of applying to and being in medical school kind of vanished.
